All staff who are registered with Choice Healthcare 24 have a traceable and up-to-date record of training and development. Choice Healthcare 24 trains its staff on all mandatory courses that place them on equal footing with the core staff of any institution or healthcare setting they are assigned. This ensures that our staff provides an enabling service, which recognises the differing needs of all clients or services.
Training
Mandatory Training
Our one day mandatory course is designed to offer full compliance for you to work for your company , agency or as freelance.
Care Certificate
Our 4 day mandatory course is designed to offer full compliance and to meet the agreed set of standards that have been set out for knowledge , skills and behaviour for specific roles within the Health and Social Care sector. This course will be supported with some online training.
Basic Life Support
This a theory and practical skills course aimed to offer participants knowledge and skills on Adult Basic Life Support.
Course was designed in line with Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
Mental Capacity Act
Our staff are trained to protect and empower people who may lack the mental capacity to make their own decisions about their care and treatment.
Revalidation
As of April 2016, revalidation is required for all nurses and midwives in the United Kingdom to ensure that they maintain their NMC registration. It is the responsibility of healthcare professionals, however, Choice Healthcare 24 has a key role in helping to provide supportive environments and resources to ensure staff successfully revalidate and are registered to work. Revalidation will help nurses to demonstrate that their practice is safe and effective.
